Review Our Camping Policies and Rules
We strive to provide you with exceptional recreational facilities and experiences. Over the years we have developed policies and rules that, when followed, allow for each camper to enjoy their stay in our parks while not impinging on the experience of others.
The following are a few of the basic rules. For a complete document of all our policies and rules go to our website using this link https://vtstateparks.com/assets/pdf/rules_current.pdf
Check-in time is 2 P.M. If the site you reserved was not used the night before your arrival, it may be possible to occupy the site sooner, however that would need to be arranged with the park staff, contact the park to inquire. You must arrive by 9:00 P.M.
Respect others - observe 10 P.M. to 7 A.M. quiet hours. Report noise or other problems immediately.
Observe 11 A.M. Check-out time.
Please do not bring firewood from outside of Vermont to prevent the spread of harmful invasive insects.
Campsite visitors are required to pay a visitor fee and must leave by 9 P.M.
Protect trees. Do not peel bark or cut standing trees, you may use dead branches lying on the ground.
Keep campfires low and in fireplace or ring.
Dishwashing must be done on the campsite, not at water spigots.
Keep and leave a clean campsite. Place recyclables and trash in appropriate bins.
Pets permitted only in designated areas, on less than 10 foot leash at all times, and are not allowed in many Day Use areas. Current written proof of Rabies vaccination is required.
